You can experience everyone of Rutherglen's 22 wineries - take advantage of a guided tour and taste as much of the local produce as you can. Taste the prize winning Parkers Pies for lunch and then take a stroll in the town and enjoy that arts and craft shops that can be found. Explore the history of how Rutherglen was founded with the gold mine or relax and sample the artwork of local artists at the Gallery. If you enjoy boating and fishing the then Murray River will certainly quench your thirst for water activities, and it is only an 8 minute drive away.
